why Christianity is the only true religion

Hey hey hey.

It’s 6th July, and I’m typing some kind words into my keyboard again.

I don’t know why it’s always on weekends, but the weather in the small town I’m living in is totally shitty (again), so the only thing I can do is work.

However.

The past few days, I kept reading Bible in the morning, so I can’t miss it anymore.

And honestly… it’s going pretty well.

I wake up at 5.30am and start reading it directly after brushing my teeth.

To be totally honest: You should do that too.

Start every day in your life with God. 

Every morning, lay the day into God’s hands and pray for guidance throughout the day.

What I also wanted to share with you is how I found God & how I became a Christian.

So… get some popcorn, a (glass) bottle of water and look for a cozy place.

And firstly, I always believed in God and the gospel, but I never really lived with God.

Back in I think it was 2019 I started getting bad thoughts and as a 12yo this really hit me super hard. (I was always a bit sensitive for mental ‘problems’)

So I did what every person would do… PRAYING. 

And you know what ?

It helped me and I kept praying and seeking God…

Eventually, I started realizing something:

‘If God is real… then I shouldn’t live without him - the exact opposite… I should keep him in my life.’

And that’s what I did.

So… I started getting down that ‘Rabbit Hole’ about how to live with God and how to be saved.

Thank God, I have gained some life-saving insights:

‘Hmm the Bible says that not everyone will be saved. But why had society taught me that everyone will end in heaven one day?’

And that’s when I understood some things:

1. Jesus is the only way into heaven.

2. Not everyone who claims to be a Christian really is one.

3. God already said in the Bible that there will be many false prophets who want to deceive many.

4. The devil & hell are real too, and many people are misled by him

Just look at all the hate, violence and wars on earth.

There are so many bad people.

But God predicted it, and it is necessary to sort out good from bad.

Many people are asking why God is letting bad things happen.

Let me explain:

God loved us so much, that he gave us our free will & the ability to do what WE want.

Now… if some people are doing bad things, it’s their fault.

If God ended all evil, he would have to control us all.

But wouldn’t we be like robots or puppets then ? 

YES - We would be like robots. Our life wouldn’t be live-worthy anymore.

So… God has to let us make our own decisions in order for us to live an autonomous life.

And the consequences of this ?

Good and Bad deeds.

And besides that:

If God would control us, it wouldn’t be real love from our side.

He wants to see who REALLY loves him, so he can spread the wheat from chaff.

His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Now to the question, ‘Why do we need Jesus to get into heaven ?’.

So… basically it’s like this:

Heaven is perfect.

If it wouldn’t be perfect, there would be no difference to earth.

AND

We all are sinners.

Every one of us has sinned against God: Lying, insulting, violence, stealing, hating…

You get what I mean.

So… if heaven is perfect, there can’t be imperfect sinners, right ?

Yes.

‘Does that mean we all end in hell?’

No, because Jesus Christ (God in flesh) came down to earth as a human, who lived a perfectly righteous life WITHOUT any sins.

That means that Jesus is perfect.

But THEN he died anyway, to pay OUR sins on the cross, he didn’t even deserve.

And yes… Jesus is my best friend.

And yes… he is yours too.

Now, by BELIEVING in him, you accept the gift of salvation.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

~ Romans 10:9

I hope this got you a bit closer to God.

And oh, before I forget:

He did SOOOO many amazing things for me:

> Every single one of my prayers get answered

> I had a motorcycle crash with 50km/h into a standing car and NOTHING happened

> He changed my life in ways I could never imagine

> He made wonders in my family

So YES - HE IS REAL.
