Let's bake a client acquisition cake
The recipe I'm testing... want to see it?
For the last few days, I've been developing my new outreach process, because I wanted to sign a few more clients during summer holidays.
2 days ago, I launched it.
Today, I'll show you exactly what I built and keep you updated on how it performs.
First Things First: Create Your SOP
SOP = Standard Operating Procedure.
Think of it like baking a cake.
You have a recipe (your SOP) and a goal (an apple cake = acquiring a client).
This SOP is your recipe that shows you exactly how to get clients, step by step.
Here's mine:
Step 1: Lead Scraping
I use LeadMash.io for this.
Here's the process:
Find my ideal prospects on Apollo
Copy the Apollo search URL
Paste it into LeadMash
Buy 1,000 leads for just $3
Boom. Done.
Step 2: Loom Recording
Now I have a Google Sheet with 1,000 ideal leads.
I upload this file to Loom and let it personalize 100 videos at once (that's the max Loom allows).
Each video gets the prospect's first name automatically inserted.
Step 3: Connecting Videos to Leads
This part requires some manual work, but it's worth it.
I copy all 100 Loom video links and create a new column called "Loom Link" in my spreadsheet.
Then I paste each video link next to the correct lead.
Just one thing is critical…
Make sure every contact gets their own personalized video. You don't want Mark receiving a video that says "Hey Thomas."
Pro tip: Personalize your Loom titles so you can search for them easily. Videos don't always appear in order in your library.
Step 4: Upload to Instantly
Now I have:
✅ 100 chosen leads
✅ 100 personalized Loom videos
✅ A CSV file linking each video to the right prospect
I upload this to Instantly and write email sequences using custom values like:
First name
Company name
Location
Niche
IG follower count
The system automatically inserts the personalized Loom link into each email.
The Result?
Hyper-personalized outreach at scale with minimal manual work.
The reason this works so well is the following…
Very little manual labor = easy to scale up.
If you have the budget, you can get bigger subscriptions and multiple domains to send hundreds of personalized emails daily.
Pretty awesome, right?
There's much more to cover…
The right subscriptions, the best tools, and high-converting email copy.
But those are topics for future emails.
The Bottom Line:
Time is your most valuable asset.
Your outreach should take minimal time while giving maximum returns.
This frees you up for what really matters: sharpening your skills and studying high-performing copy.
Wish you a dope day,
Jesus loves you,
Alex.
