- I quit....
I quit....
Yeah you read right.
I quit focusing on my current plan.
It's time to change it.
Let me explain….
Yesterday evening at 10PM I was still in the gym training my shoulders & arms for about 2 hours.
And honestly…
I was a bit sad, because I lost a client and it's 100% my responsibility.
Shit happens.
So… I decided to change my plan (AGAIN).
Man, I hate situations like this.
BUT
I learned something crucial for life:
Your plan won’t always work.
In the last few weeks, I had a lot of stuff going on in my head, and I lacked a lot of clarity.
I see many people having the same problem.
They are depressed because they change their plan every 2 weeks.
Do they suffer from shiny object syndrome ?
Honestly… I don’t think so.
On the contrary.
I believe they are making progress.
And I would even say they make FAST progress.
Imagine they wouldn’t change their mind for 10 years straight.
Horrible.
They would be stuck forever, wouldn’t they ?
But what I want to say is this:
Plan Changes are important.
BUT.
Only change your plan if it REALLY makes sense and it's 0 cope.
Changing your plan because your current business doesn't make fun anymore.
ISN'T a valid reason.
A valid reason is for example if you hit rock bottom.
Clients go because they aren't satisfied.
Smth like this.
Then you NEED to change something ASAP.
If you don't hit rock bottom.
(Aka nothing big happens.)
You should stick to your current plan.
And remember:
Don’t expect to make ‘The perfect plan’ that you can follow until you reach your goal.
This will never happen.
You don’t need to see the whole way to the destination.
As long as you can see the next step…
Take it. Adapt. And plan again.
Now… The daily Bible verse:
'When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble. Sing praises to the Lord , who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord , have not forsaken those who seek You. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.'
Psalms 9:9-12
